Description
The ASTM F1554 Anchor Bolt specification was introduced in 1994 and covers designed to anchor structural supports to concrete foundations.
In grade A36, 55, 105 anchor bolts are manufactured from A36, but low carbon steel., carbon steel and alloy steel. Run-of-the-mill bolt grade covering in diameters ranging from M12 / 1/2″ through 125mm / 4″.
In grade A36 Grade are manufactured from low carbon steel. This is your standard, run-of-the-mill bolt grade covering in diameters ranging from 1/2″ through 4″. In August of 2007, F1554 grade 36 replaced ASTMA307 grade C which also covered mild steel anchor bolts.
In this standard specification for straight and bent, headed and headless anchor bolts with specific yield strengths. The bolts are manufactured from carbon, carbon boron, alloy, or high-strength low-alloy steel. F1554 grade 36 replaced ASTM A307 grade C which also covered mild steel.
